Presentation
Guidelines

The speakers of all accepted papers must physically present on site, in Denver.

As it was agreed by all authors during the extended abstract/paper submission process, speakers will be recorded during their talks/poster presentations, and the recording will be posted on MHV website, YouTube or similar venues.

Oral Presentations:

  • The length of oral presentation should be 15 minutes at the most: 12 minutes for the main talk + 3 minutes for Q&A;

  • No specific slide template is required;

  • The presentation slides should be prepared in the Microsoft PowerPoint widescreen format;

  • At the MHV/2026, the slides will be presented by using a MHV dedicated laptop, so all authors are required to provide their presentation slides by email to dgrois@acm.org at least two weeks prior to the MHV/2026 conference;

  • IMPORTANT: The PowerPoint PPT slides should be titled as follows: MainSessionTitle_YourFullName_Affiliation. Please check your corresponding MainSessionTitle within the Full MHV Program: https://www.mile-high.video/technical-program - e.g., the MainSessionTitle can be VideoStreaming1, VideoCoding1, etc. We will copy all slides to the MHV conference laptop, from which all Oral Presentations will be carried out, in order to expedite the process and to prevent potential delays.

  • Please bring a copy of your slides on a USB stick as a backup.

  • The speakers should ensure that their slides are clearly and smoothly played/displayed on the MHV equipment prior to each presentation session;

  • No sale pitches, promotions, advertisements, etc. are allowed!
